Now, I usually join other people’s games in order to assist them with tasks, or pass out weapons / goods that I have stockpiled on my current main Nightmare mode community. Having someone annihilate just about all of your objectives before you even get there is extremely stale and boring. The entire point of the game is to build up your community and survive. I’m sure some people would love for that to happen to them, but for me it just takes the fun out. Now, this wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the fact that it is every single game that you join at least one person has either a modded survivor or weapon.Īs of recently I have started a new Nightmare mode community (I already have every achievement so I’m experimenting at this point) and within 30 minutes someone had entirely wiped out every single plague heart in my game, with a modded grenade launcher.
State of Decay 2, at this point, is currently completely overran by modders.
